How to book a plumber (and what to have ready)
You can book by phone 24 hours a day, or by using the quote form or booking form on the contact page. Have your postcode, what is happening, when it started, whether you can isolate the water, and your access arrangements ready. The call-out band is confirmed before an engineer sets off — £99 standard hours including the first hour, with other bands for evenings, nights, weekends and bank holidays.

Three ways to book
For anything urgent, phone. A form cannot ask the follow-up question that decides whether we send someone now.
- • Phone — answered 24 hours a day, including nights, weekends and bank holidays.
- • Quote form — for pricing a job you are not in a hurry with; we reply by phone.
- • Booking form — for planned work: choose a date and a time window and we call to confirm.
What to have ready
These five details are what turn a vague enquiry into a firm arrival window and an accurate price.
- • Full postcode and property type — house, flat, floor and access.
- • What is happening, and when it started.
- • Whether you have isolated the water, and whether the stop tap works.
- • Photos if the fault is visible — they often save a diagnostic visit.
- • Who is at the property and how the engineer gets in.
How the price is agreed
You are quoted the applicable call-out band on the call, before anyone travels. Nothing is charged for the enquiry itself, and if the job needs a part we will tell you the price and the lead time before it is ordered.
Landlords, agents and businesses
Landlords, letting agents and commercial clients can book with a spend limit, direct tenant liaison and per-property invoicing. Say so when you book and we will set it up that way from the first job.
